

NEW IBERIA – Memorial Services will be conducted for Mr. William “Bill” Crawford Fullerton, II, on Friday, July 5th, 2013 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in New Iberia, LA. On Saturday, July 6th, 2013 at 2:00 pm, there will be an internment of his ashes and a brief ceremony at Roselawn Cemetery in Junction City, LA/AR.
William “Bill” Crawford Fullerton II passed away in New Iberia, LA on Monday, June 17, 2013 at the age of 78.
Bill enjoyed a very full and successful life. Though born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, Bill was raised in Junction City, LA. He earned a BA at LA Tech and served overseas in Germany as a Medic in the US Army. A longtime resident of both the New Orleans French Quarter and later New Iberia, he worked for many years as a Commercial Diver. In later years, he and his wife Ellie enjoyed yearly visits to her native Bulgaria, visited music festivals across southern Louisiana, and enjoyed meeting friends for Mardi Gras in New Orleans.
He was a devoted father and husband. Bill is survived by his wife, Elena Fullerton. He is also survived by two sons, Drew Fullerton and Scot Fullerton. His grandchildren include Kristin, Sarah, Liam, Collins, Annabeth, and Griffith.
He was preceded in death by his son, William (Billy) Crawford Fullerton III, step-father Compton LaBauve Sr, and parents Elizabeth LaBauve and William Crawford Fullerton I.
