Wesley Astor Fox

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Wesley Astor Fox, age 89, at 11:00 am Friday, May 27, 2011 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Fr. Ed Degeyter officiating. Interment will be held at Beau Pre Mausoleum with a military flag presentation by VFW Post #1982.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am Friday at Evangeline Funeral Home until service time.

A native of Madill, Oklahoma and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Fox passed away at 4:40 am on Monday, May 23, 2011 at Iberia Extended Care Hospital.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jackie Mack Fox of New Iberia; one daughter, Linda F. Major and her husband Al of Conway, Arkansas; five grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Leoda Horn Fox; his first wife, Marian Broussard Fox; one brother and four sisters.

Pallbearers will be members of the family.
