Titus was born July 28, 1956 to Shirley Migues Romero and the late James Romero. He was a welder by trade and worked with various fabrication and oilfield companies in the Acadiana area. Titus was also an automotive mechanic and worked on anything with a motor, including boats and atvs.
When not working, Titus spent his time outdoors. His family recalls his love of nature and passion for hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He could wet a line in any pond, canal or bayou and catch fish with ease. He also was a fan of hunting deer, ducks and frogging. But some of his best days were when he hit the roads on his motorcycle and rode with no schedule or destination. Just him and the open road.
It goes without saying that those who knew Titus, knew of his love for life. He truly took advantage of every moment of each day. He will be missed dearly. Rest well Titus for you have earned your heavenly reward.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Robin Renee Romero and Pharell James Romero; his grandchildren, Grayson James Romero, Tristen Romero, Destiny McHenry, Levi Sanders; two great grandchildren, Benjamin Presley and Maddox Romero; his mother, Shirley Migues Romero; and his sisters and brother, Sherry Romero (Brenda Ervin), Conway Romero (Arnold Rodriguez) and Laura Romero DeRouen (Jules Dean DeRouen).
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, Shane Romero, Hannah DeRouen, Alphonse DeRouen, John DeRouen and Beau DeRouen; and a host of great nieces and nephews. And we cannot forget about his loyal and faithful dogs, Rocky and Razor.
Titus is reunited in heaven with his wife, Cecilia Hamilton Romero; father, James Romero; grandparents, Edwin and Anita Romero and Sidney and Martha Migues; and his brother, Pharell James Romero.
