NEW IBERIA-Funeral Services will be conducted for Timothy Scott Krohn, age 54, at 4:00 pm Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Evangeline Funeral Home. Pastor Carl Gay and Todd Richardson will be celebrants for the service. Interment will take place on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Old Union First Baptist Church Cemetery in Eldorado, Arkansas.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Sunday from 2:00 pm until time of service at Evangeline Funeral Home.
He passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020, from complications of Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS).
He was born in Bixby, Oklahoma, to the late Fernell Jerry Krohn and James Hubert Krohn.
Timothy loved his family and was a loyal friend to many. Above all, he loved the Lord Jesus Christ.
He was a member of Milton Baptist Church in Milton, Louisiana.
Timothy graduated from Ouachita Baptist University and then received his Master’s degree
from New Orleans Baptist Seminary. After graduation, he served as youth pastor at several
Baptist churches in Louisiana and Arkansas. In later years, he worked for Tiga Integration Systems as a
Scada computer technician.
Survivors include his twin sister Jamie LeBlanc and husband Darin of Youngsville, LA, niece
Haley LeBlanc, nephew Dylan LeBlanc, two aunts Virginia Barnes of Nash, TX, and
Nadine Williams and husband Joe of El Dorado, AR, and numerous cousins.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to Heart of Hospice, 201 W. Vermilion, Suite 100, Lafayette, LA 70501.
