Patricia "Patsy" Stoutes

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. Dallas Stoutes, the former Patricia “Patsy” Segura, age 74, at 10:00 am Friday, November 15, 2013 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Fr. Jerry Mesley officiating. Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Thursday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Friday and remain open until service time.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Stoutes passed away at 2:04 am on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette.

Mrs. Stoutes worked in the healthcare industry for many years at Dr. Dalton and Dr. Castro’s office. She enjoyed bowling, weekly Pokeno games with her friends and traveling. Most of all, she loved cooking and spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchild.

She is survived by her husband Dallas Stoutes of New Iberia; one son, Scott Michael Stoutes and wife Helena of Maurice and one daughter, Michelle Stoutes Blanchard and husband Edwin of New Iberia; three grandchildren, Kellie Blanchard and fiance’ Rusty Rouly; Seth Stoutes; Whitney Blanchard and one great grandchild, Madilyn Rouly and three brothers, Charlie Segura; Calvin Segura and wife Judy and Newton “Monk” Segura all of New Iberia and also her Pokeno Club friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ceasar and Mabel Mouret Segura; in laws, Egles and Ella Stoutes; sister in laws, Claudia Segura and Frances Segura and her Godchild, Charles Segura, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Scott Stoutes, Seth Stoutes, Ed Blanchard, Charlie Segura, Calvin Segura, Newton “Monk” Segura, Blaine Segura and Barry Segura. Calvin Segura, Jr. and Lee Segura will serve as honorary pallbearers.
