Patricia Coursey Benoit

Patricia Coursey Benoit, age 77, of New Iberia, Louisiana passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. Patricia was born January 20, 1945 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to Mildred Parker Gary and Melvin Eugene Coursey.

Patricia is survived by her sister LouElla LeBlanc (Gabriel), her brother Leroy Gary (Brenda) and her like her own sister Sandra Lee Gerard; her niece and caregiver Sandra Gerard (LeRoy), her niece Laci Gerard, her niece Priscilla Gerard, her niece Christina Racca, her great niece Tiffany Benoit, her great nephew Devin Benoit, her great nephew John Gerard, her great niece Billie Viator, her great niece Evelyn Compton, her great niece Krystal Hecke, her great nephew Rocky Racca, her great niece Tammy Racca, her great nephew Jeremy Racca, her great nephew John Wedge, her great nephew James Wedge, her great nephew Thomas Wedge and her great nephew Frankie Jensen.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Benoit; her mother Mildred Parker Gary; her father Melvin Eugene Coursey and her step father Nedier Eugene; her cousin Charlie Parker.

A gathering of family & friends for Patricia will be held Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Evangeline Funeral Home, 314 East St. Peter Street, New Iberia, Louisiana 70560.
