Ormine Robicheaux

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Ormine “Minnie” LeBlanc Robicheaux, age 86, at 10:00 am Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Rev. Roland Fontenot officiating. Interment will follow at Beau Pre Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Thursday until service time.

A native of Jeanerette and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Robicheaux passed away at 7:42 pm on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at New Iberia Manor South surrounde by family.

Mrs. Robicheaux enjoyed camping with her husband. They made numerous friends over the years through the Sugar and Spice Camping Club and the International Brotherhood of Magicians, where she served as Secretary for many years.

She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Delcambre and husband Jack of New Iberia; two sons, Terry Robicheaux and wife Patricia of New Iberia and Bill Bergeron and wife Carol of Pensacola, FL; eight grandchildren, Rene’ Robicheaux; Kimberly Comeaux and husband Dean; Allen Bergeron; Jenny Bergeron; Troy Ramsey; Chad Ramsey; Laurie Ramsey and David Ramsey and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Asay Anthony Robicheaux; parents, Denas and Odile Landry LeBlanc; one brother, Dudley LeBlanc and one sister, Vivian L. Viator.

Pallbearers will be Rene’ Robicheaux, David Ramsey, Brett Ramsey, Gene Viator, Walter LeBlanc and Allen Bergeron.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to Heart of Hospice, 201 West Vermilion Street, Lafayette, LA 70501.
