Michael was born on February 12, 1962 and was one of six children to Yves and Gladys P. Romero. Michael was the second generation owner of Romero Electric Motor Service. He will be truly and deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Michael leaves behind a son, Michael Romero Jr; a brother, Larry Romero (Rochelle); and four sisters, Jane Romero (Tammy), Margret Corneillus (Jeff), Nancy Romero Simar, and Elizabeth Minvielle (Lynn).
Michael was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service celebrating Michaels life will be held at 6:30 pm at Evangeline Funeral Home on Monday October 9, 2023. Pastor Paul Neel will officiate. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
A gathering of family and friends will take place at the funeral home on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. A rosary being led by the Men's Rosary Group will be prayed at 5:45 pm.
