Louise Dabney Heald Dupuy

NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Mrs. David Davis Dupuy, the former Louise Dabney Heald, age 91, at 11:00 am Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany. Rev. Canon Larry G. Wilkes will be the celebrant for the services. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 8:00 am on Thursday until service time at the Evangeline Funeral Home.

A native of Lynchburg, Virginia and resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Dupuy passed away on Monday, April 11, 2011.

She is survived by three daughters, Sally Dupuy Nosewicz and her husband Thomas of New Orleans; Gay Dupuy Thibodaux and her husband Thomas Cunningham and Chis Dupuy all of New Iberia; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Davis Dupuy; parents, Edward Ernest and Louisa Shackleford Dabney Heald; one brother, John Ernest Heald and two sisters, Elizabeth H. Thomhill and Chiswell H. Fox.

Pallbearers will be Cory Hebert, David Hebert, Tommy Nosewicz, Pexie Dupuy, Chris Jones and Karl Takacs.

We would like to give special thanks to our loyal loving friends who helped Mama in her final years. Especially Indiana Jacquet, Jeanette Mitchell, Crystal Evans, and Sheila Jacquet.
