

A native and resident of New Iberia, Mr. Judice passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in Lafayette.
Born on June 25, 1927 to the late Paul and Ida Gaudet Judice, Lee was one of three children. He proudly served his country as a Merchant Marine during WWII and in the United States Armed Forces during the Korean Conflict. He was honorably discharged. Lee was a kind and caring man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He was a world traveler, having visited Europe, China, Egypt and everywhere in between and loved seeing new and exciting places. Lee was also an avid gardener and was well known for his beautiful gardens that were wall to wall with various flowers and plants.
Lee will best be remember as a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, and friend. He faithfully cared for his loving wife, Gladys, for 24 years while she dealt with kidney disease. Lee went beyond to care for his wife making sure she had access to dialysis during a time when it was not easily available. Forever a jokester who loved to smile and laugh with friends and family, Lee will be truly and deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his son, Philip C. Judice (Jodie); brother, Carroll Judice (Fran); sister-in-law, Betty Judice; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys V. Judice; second wife, Clara P. Judice; parents, late Paul and Ida Gaudet Judice; and brother, Curtis Judice.
Pallbearers will be members and friends of the family.
