Judy Badeaux Gonsoulin

NEW IBERIA – Memorial Services will be conducted for Judy Badeaux Gonsoulin, age 54, at 2:00 pm Monday, October 8, 2012 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Fr. Bill Gearheard officiating. A rosary will be prayed prior to the Mass at 1:45 pm. Interment will be held privately at a later date.

A native and resident of New Iberia, Judy passed away at 6:45 pm on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Consolata Nursing Home.

Judy was a wonderful person with a heart of gold. She was employed at Consolata Nursing Home for 30 years, where she gave of her time continuously to make sure others were comfortable. She was loved dearly by her children, grandchildren and her work family. When Judy was not working she enjoyed reading and walking in the park.

Judy is survived by one daughter, Brandy Gonsoulin and companion Keith McGee; one son, Clyde Gonsoulin and wife Shandi; four grandchildren, Coy, Hunter, Allison and McKenzie all of New Iberia. She is also survived by one brother, Al Badeaux of New Iberia and her companion Dennis of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alton Badeaux; mother, Cecilia Boudreaux and one brother, Clyde Badeaux.
