I knew Gayle's father, Mr. A.J. Provost and shared the same office with  him for several years. Everyone in the community thought very highly of his father, "Mr. A.J." I think Gayle was a good deal like his father and when I'd see him walking along Main Street these past few years it reminded me of the long walks about the city that his dad took daily. My condolences to his family.
