Bobby was born December 19, 1950 in New Iberia to Dudley Boudreaux and Mildred Hanks Boudreaux. On Friday February 22, 2019 at 10:00 am, Bobby passed away peacefully at The Carpenter House surrounded by his loving family. His journey in this earthly life complete and now enjoying his reward in heaven. He was 68.
Bobby was retired as a Production Superintendent with Island Operating and worked with various oilfield related companies in his many years of service. Outside of his career, Bobby enjoyed any activity as long as it was centered around his family. He was fortunate enough to share many vacations with them and made a tradition of visiting Branson, MO every year for Thanksgiving. The grandchildren cherished those trips with their Paw and made memories to last a lifetime. He had some pastimes and hobbies such as hunting and fishing when he was younger, doing carpentry work, relaxing at his camp, or collecting and setting up his expansive Christmas Village during his favorite time of year, Christmas. But above all, every breath he took, and every beat of his heart was for the love of his family. He leaves a legacy of love that will be kept in the hearts of his family, and he will be dearly missed. Rest well Bobby. Until we meet again.
Those left to cherish his memory are his high school sweetheart and wife of 48 years, Sandra Albert Boudreaux; his loving daughters, Tiffany Boudreaux Buteaux and Nicole Boudreaux Tyler; his Sons-in-law, Kevin Buteaux and Greig Tyler; his grandchildren whom he adored, Chris Buteaux, Kevin Zachery Robert Buteaux, Camden Tyler and Zoie Paige Tyler; his sister and brothers, Michelle “Mitch” Moneyhon, Danny Boudreaux and wife Charlene, Tim Boudreaux and companion Tyra; his mother-in-law, Louise Boudreaux Albert; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dudley and Mildred Hanks Boudreaux.
Serving as pallbearers are Chris and Zachery Buteaux, Camden Tyler, Dylan Albert, Kenny Hanks and Dennis Pellerin. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Buteaux, Greig Tyler and Oliver Albert, Jr.
