NEW IBERIA – Funeral Services will be conducted for Ms. Angela Perez, age 68, at 11:00 am Monday, February 3, 2014 at Evangeline Funeral Home with Deacon Patrick Burke officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 am on Monday and remain open until service time. A Rosary will be recited just before the service at 11:00 am.

A native of Weeks Island and a resident of New Iberia, Ms. Perez passed away at 8:40 pm on Friday, January 31, 2014 at her residence.

Ms. Perez was known to be an excellent cook and loving mother and sister. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Carisa Perez of New Iberia and brothers, Huey M. Perez of New Iberia, James “J.C.” Perez of Lydia, Godfrey Perez of Lydia, Ray Perez of Lydia, Carl Perez of Erath and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robley Perez, Sr., Hazel Rivet Perez and brother, Robley Perez, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Vincent Perez, Craig Perez, Troy Perez, Todd Perez, Rodney Perez and Matt Perez.
