Amy's zest for life was infectious, evident in her love for travel, especially when accompanied by dear friends. Whether exploring new destinations or simply enjoying the company of loved ones, Amy found joy in every moment. Her dedication to health and wellness shone through her passion for walking, an activity she embraced both for exercise and as an opportunity to connect with nature. For 38 years, Amy served as a cornerstone of the Iberia Parish Library, where her commitment to fostering a love of reading and learning touched countless lives. Beyond her official duties, she generously volunteered her time, particularly in workshops designed to enrich the lives of children throughout Iberia Parish. Her impact extended beyond the library, as she dedicated herself to the community by volunteering at Coteau Ball Park for many years, exemplifying her selflessness and dedication to others.
One of Amy's proudest achievements was her involvement in the filming of "Christmas in Louisiana," a movie that brought joy to audiences in New Iberia and beyond. Her contribution to the local film industry highlighted her creativity and passion for storytelling.
Yet, amid her busy life, Amy's greatest source of pride and joy was her family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 34 years, Steve Alleman; one son, Beau Alleman; her mother, Janet Lopez Judice; one brother, Ron Judice (Janet); three sisters, Charlene Girouard (Randy); Pam Melancon (Larry) and Angel Judice and numerous nieces and nephews.
