Survived by parents Cathy and Jerry Halford; Son, Payton Halford, Daughter Kelsey and granddaughter Gracesyn; Brother Kenny and his favorite sister Connie Whiteford; Many aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Cousins and so many friends.
Tom was a lifelong Minnesotan and a fan of all the Minnesota teams, especially the Vikings
Lately his favorite pastime was hanging out with the awesome neighbors and of course softball, in his younger days as a player, then a coach and always a fan!! During his long battle with cancer, he counseled others on what to expect, he pioneered a pre-surgery fitness program featured on the news and was one of the first to have the Whipple, a pancreatic cancer surgery and liver cancer surgery. He also took more Chemo treatments than anyone ever treated at the Courage Kenny and Mercy Cancer centers.
The Turtle spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew him!!
A celebration of Life will be held at one of his hangouts, the Crystal VFW on November 4, 2022 at 4pm.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.kapalaglodekmalone.com for the Halford family.
