Kathleen Canion Wagner

Age 83 of Minnetonka, passed peacefully on December 4, 2016.

Kathleen was born in Nixon, Texas to Ruth and Dewey Canion on November 21, 1933. She attended business school and married Leo Wagner in San Antonio, Texas in 1954. Leo and Kathleen then moved to Minnesota where Kathleen held various clerical positions until retiring from Coast to Coast Hardware in 1989. Kathleen and Leo wintered at their home in Fountain Hills, Arizona for over 25 years. Kathleen was an exceptional seamstress, an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing BINGO.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Leo; Parents, Dewey and Ruth Canion; Two Siblings.

Kathleen will be dearly missed by her Children, Patricia, Sandra (Paul Sjogren) and Phillip (Tammy); Grandchildren, Caitlin and Evan Denison, Kirsten (Phillip) DesMarais, Anna Sjogren, and Brooklyn and Chance; Great-grandchildren, Lena and Clayton DesMarais; Sister, Joan Allen; and Loving Relatives and Friends.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:00 AM, with Remembrances at 11:00 AM, followed by a reception all at Kapala-Glodek-Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Rd., New Hope, Minnesota.

A spring interment will be scheduled at Nixon Cemetery in Texas.

Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
