John will be deeply missed by his wife of 55 years, Joyce; children, Pete (Bill), Jodie (Chris), John Jr. (Stella); granddaughter, Abby; sister Kathie (Roger).
He was very social and will be missed by many friends and relatives.
John was born on November 17, 1941 in Minneapolis. He served in the US Army from 1961-1963. He married the love of his life Joyce in 1968 and they settled in the Mound area where they raised their family.
He loved coaching hockey and baseball. He loved the outdoors, fishing, gardening, going for walks, and golfing.
Visitation will begin at 9:30am until time of service at 10:30am on Monday, April 8, 2024 at Kapala Glodek Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery will follow at 1:30pm.
