Jeffrey Scott Johnson

Age 54, of Maple Grove, passed away at home after battling esophageal cancer, on December 8, 2013. Born in Thief River Falls, MN. Moved to Superior, WI in 1970, where he graduated from high school in 1978 & made many friends while working at McDonald’s. Moved to the Twin Cities & worked for 30 years at Siemens Hearing (formerly Dahlberg). Enjoyed fishing (especially the annual end of summer fishing trip with family to the Chain of Lakes), finding treasures at antique stores & garage sales, rebuilding cars & engines with his son – including two Model Ts, and putzing in the yard. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Jeff is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Travis; parents, Byron & Elizabeth; brothers, Dennis (Mary) & Duane “Buzz” (Carol); sisters: Jacquelyn Venner (John), Diane Johnson, & Karen Rickstrom (Steve); siblings-in-law: Barbara Roberts, Steve Manke (Gail), & Sue Flock (John); many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends. Funeral Service: 1 PM, Saturday, December 14 at Kapala-Glodek-Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope. Visitation 1 hour prior. Memorials preferred to Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation – VPCI
