Jan Stark

Passed away on October 7th in Mesa, AZ at the age of 71. Jan was raised in Waterloo, IA but spent most of her life in New Hope, MN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald and mother, Martha Brown. Jan is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Jeff) Stark Miller and son, Brad (Kristen) Stark; granddaughters, Amber and Emily Miller; sister, Linda (Gary) Kelley; niece, Cydney and nephew, Kyle (Mackenzie). Jan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa followed by Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of St Thomas. Jan was a member of the American Association of University Women, League of Women Voters, National Organization of Women (NOW), Pi Lambda Theta - International Honor Society, Who's Who of American Women in Education and

Who's Who of American Women. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, October 28th 11 a.m. Visitation 10 a.m. at the St. Joseph Parish Community, 8701 36th Ave. No. in New Hope, MN.
