Harold built a long and steady career with Public Service Company—now known as Xcel Energy—where he worked diligently until retiring at the age of 56. His early retirement allowed him to devote more time to the passions that brought joy and fulfillment.
Among Harold’s many interests, square dance calling stood out as a unique and cherished activity. With rhythm and enthusiasm, he brought people together through music and movement, creating moments of joy for countless dancers over the years. Harold was also an accomplished woodworker, crafting pieces with care and precision—a reflection of his patience and skill. He also played the guitar in a country band for many years. He recently moved from Arvada, CO to live with his son Kevin and wife Claudia, in MN.
