Gary will be deeply missed by his wife of 42 years, Alice; children, Correne (Justin) Longstrom and Bryan (Amanda) Blumenschein; grandchildren, Hudson, Avery, Harper, Aubrey, Brynn and Nora; parents, George and Rosalie Blumenschein; brothers, Rick and Steve (Jill) Blumenschein; sister-in-law, Lauren (Kim) Vohs; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
As a lover of nature, Gary liked to garden, camp, and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed going on a good adventure, whether that be traveling with his family, fishing trips to Canada, or taking a drive in his Camaro. He was also a well-known craftsman amongst his family and friends. Above all else, Gary was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Evening Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 4pm-8pm at Kapala Glodek Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11am at the funeral home, with visitation beginning at 10am. Interment at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Crystal.
