My thoughts and prayers are with you Patti and your family during this difficult time.

Duane was a great man, an expert in chemical dependency field, he was a very funny man. His dedication and compassion for people affected by addictions and brain injuries was simply incredible. Duane lived his life in giving help and peace to those whom others pass by. What a life, spent in service to humanity. I miss Duane. I miss him sitting in his chair in Vinland's lobby,greeting and being greeted when I come to work. I miss his sense of humor. He is missed at Vinland. I pray for Duane's family, that God will ease their sorrow.

Duane is so missed. He was like the Yoda of Vinland. I am so very grateful to have had the privilege to meet and work w/such a great man. Wendy

In loving memory of a wonderful man who literally worked along side me for 10 years.  I will never forget his passion for his work and family, his intelligence, and his great sense of humor. You will be missed.

I shared many good laughs and stories at the front desk of Vinland with Duane. Duane had a beautiful vision for Vinland and life in general. I am glad he was able to fulfill that vision because the world is a better place for it and for him. His wisdom will always stay with me. I can say with certainty that he will truly be missed each and everyday. I feel so blessed to have known him. My thoughts are with Duane's family and all those who knew him.

A very great man who influenced so many.  I feel privileged to have known him and have had the opportunity to learn from him. Duane's sensibilities and compassion will stay with me always.  Thoughts and prayers to Duane's family and loved ones.

I am forever grateful for Duane's friendship and mentorship. I am blessed to have known him and to have learned from him.

So sorry to hear the news of Duane`s passing. He was such a nice man and did so much for promoting the CD field. I will miss seeing him at the Marrch Fall conference. Duane was one of the smartest and funniest people I've ever met. He truly cared about helping people improve their lives. He will be greatly missed.
