Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Antoinette; sister, Josephine Bedard. Donald will be deeply missed by his wife of 64 years, Arlene; children, Mike (LaDonna), Connie (Phil) Rooney, Vicki Herrmann; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; niece, Linda Johnson.
Donald grew up in Crosby-Ironton area. He served in the US Army as a paratrooper. He retired after working at Honeywell for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing.
Committal service will be held at 9:30am on Monday, April 22, 2024 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Luncheon will follow at Kapala Glodek Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Donald’s name to your favorite charity.
