Barb and Don were some of the nicest people out there.  Mom and Dad had so much fun with them and I got to learn about pinecones in a fire from Donnie.  He also made me a great cake stand when I needed something different.  Loved talking with them both whenever I had a chance. Hugs to the entire family, they will be missed.  LeeAnn

It is hard to lose two of our oldest friends that we shared so many memorable moments, adventures and good times.    Another link of the "Lausen, Lindsay and Nybo's" as we were called at Camper's Paradise is gone.   We always felt that Barb and Don and all the kids were an extended family and they will always be in our thoughts and prayers and hopefully we will not lose contact.  We will miss Barb and Don and our sincere sympathy goes to all the family.

We felt Barb and Don were our parents too!   We all were at many special family functions over the years.   We were neighbors at Campers Paradise with them for 20 years.  A few years we  went camping early and set-up our site, then, my Don, had to go back to work so  I was there by myself and Barb and Don would come  check on me often.  I would go to their site to visit and it was like musical chairs, they made everybody move so I could have the best lawn chair!   To all the Nybos, we're thinking of you and we loved them too!


Still surreal.  My heart goes out to all of the Nybo family.  Having grown up across the street from the Nybo's I spent a lot of time there as a child. Although I have a terrible memory the memories I have are all fond memories.  The one's that stick out is Barb coming across the island at campers paradise in the middle of the night and yelling at us all for being too loud.  Then added "and Karey your laugh can be heard through the whole campground".  She always treated me as one of her own and for that I am so grateful.  I also remember Don showing me how to pull back a bow.  He was a great teacher.  Also an awesome gardener.  Their back yard was full of beautiful flowers!  They raised a beautiful family and so proud to have known them.  Prayers to all of the family for God's comfort and strength.

So sorry to hear this. They were our next door neighbors in Palm Shadows for many years.
They will be missed.  They were very nice people!  We all had fun at happy hour on our block!

I have many wonderful memories of afternoon games with Barb and the ladies at Palm Shadows . We would play a game that you could win by putting your whole hand down at  once.  When Barb got very quiet we almost knew she was going to do just that and catch all the rest of us. She got our dimes (what you gave when that happens)many times.  Will miss her so very much.
