Ruth Marie Reidy

Ruth was born on April 30th, 1934 to Vincent Andreozzi and Concetta Andreozzi (Miceli). She graduated from Aquinas High School in the Bronx, NY. She was married to William McManus for 29 years and lived in Waldwick, NJ. She married James Reidy in 1989 and lived in Tarrytown, NY for 34 years. Ruth was an active member of the Tarrytown Seniors. She had a zest for life and loved social events with her friends and family.

Ruth was predeceased by her father, Vincent Andreozzi, her mother Concetta, her brother Vincent Andreozzi, and her husband, James Reidy. Ruth is survived by her children, Greg McManus (Kellie) of Salem, Oregon, Edward McManus (Devra) of Claremore, OK and Alison Dolan (Steve) of New City, NY. She is also survived by her sister, Evelyn Neyen of Pearl River, NY and her grandchildren, Rory, Skyler, Jade, and Parker McManus; Ashlee and Jessica McManus; and Kevin, Michael, Brian, and Cara Dolan, as well as her stepson Greg Reidy. Ruth had many nieces, nephews and 4 great-grandchildren, all who loved her dearly.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 16th, 2023 at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY from 10 AM to 12 PM with a short memorial service at the Funeral Home at 11:30 AM.
