She was diagnosed with COPD back in 2013 and spent her years fighting this challenging disease with grace, courage and dignity. Although the complications of this ailment continued to limit her everyday lifestyle, she was relentless in challenging this ailment.
Born on October 12, 1932, Phyllis resided in Nanuet, a place she called “home” and passed away at the age of 90. She was a vibrant individual that touched the lives to everyone that knew her. Phyllis married George Joseph Palladino back in 1954 and became a widow in 1975 where she successfully raised her son and daughter in New City, NY.
She was a dedicated mother who supported her children and family through all challenges and passionate about instilling her daughter and son to follow their own path and chase their dreams.
She will be remembered as a beautiful, vibrant caring mother and grandmother committed to her family. She is survived by her two children Donna and George Palladino, daughter-in-law Chesiree Palladino and two beautiful grand-children, Sebastian and Julian who reside in Bardonia and West Nyack.
There will be a viewing from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at the Michael J Higgins Funeral Home in New City followed by a short funeral service at 10:00am on Thursday February 23rd at St Anthony’s Church in Nanuet, NY.
