Patrick was born December 7, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY to Michael and Margaret (Callahan) Lynch. He served his country proudly with the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War and was a true Republican to the bone. Patrick was actively working for the Department of Social Services as a Case Worker in Pomona, NY. Patrick married the love of his life Norma (Mulhearn) Petty in October 21, 1988. He was a kind, loving, devoted Husband, Father and Friend. He will be remembered as a professional and honorable man. Patrick made a difference in all our lives and made our world a better place. He will be missed by all his family, friends and those whose lives he touched.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife Norma Petty-Lynch of Suffern, his children Debra Lynch, Darlene Russell, James Lynch, Stacey-Lynn Estes, Shawna-Lee Clutter, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, his brother Jerry Lynch and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Patrick is predeceased by his brother Michael Lynch and his sister Margaret Lynch O’Halloran.
Friends may call for memorial visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home 321 South Main Street New City, NY 10956. A Memorial Mass will be offered Monday 11am at St. Peter’s Church Haverstraw, NY. An inurnment will be set at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery Washington, DC.
