Despite being diagnosed at a young age with a profound developmental disability and cerebral palsy, Noreen lived life as a sweet and happy girl, bringing joy to everyone around her. Noreen was always thrilled to be in the middle of a crowd. She had a special way of making you feel loved, with her squeals of delight, rocking to music, clapping your hands, and blowing kisses to show her affection. Those who cared for her cherished her in return and provided her with exceptional care.
Noreen is survived by her devoted mother, Jane Joyce, and her beloved siblings, Jean (BJ) Bausinger, MaryEllen (Alan) Tenbus, and Kevin (Therese) Joyce. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces and nephews, Bobby, Patrick, Catie, Emily, Drew, Kelly, and Dylan, as well as many adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins. Noreen was recently predeceased by her father, Robert Joyce.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Higgins Funeral Home, located at 321 So. Main St, New City, NY. Following the visitation, a funeral mass will take place at 11:30 am at St. Anthony's Parish, 36 West Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY.
