Nancy Fuchs, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, joined God's Kingdom on Jan. 23, 2012. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family and friends, which she held so dear. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank; her cherished children, Frankie (Maureen), Kathleen (Tony), Danny (Debora), Bonnie, and Jennifer (Kevin); and beloved grandchildren, Matty, Stephanie, Patrick, Tony, Michael, Christine, Daniel, Grace, Gabriella, Olivia, and Kevin. She is also survived by her dear brother, John McConnell. Nancy was born in NYC on Jan. 18, 1939 to William and Marian McConnell. She married her childhood sweetheart, Frank Fuchs on Governor's Island in 1957. In 1962, they moved to Rockland County where they raised their family. Nancy was a gentle caring soul who was loved by all who knew her. Family will receive friends on Wed., Jan. 25 and Thurs., Jan. 26 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home, 321 So. Main St., New City, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10am Fri., Jan. 27 at St. Augustine's Church. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
