Monica Pezzullo

Monica Pezzullo of Garnerville, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 10, 2025 at the age of 76. She is survived by her husband, Anthony; son, Peter LeViness (RoseMarie); daughters, Renee Jennings (Edward) and Danielle Sunwall (Jason) and six grandchildren (Ryan, Tyler, Kelly, Jaxon, Kara and Aubrey). She is also survived by her sister, Regina Savage (Danny) and niece, Danielle Savage, as well as other loved family and close friends. She was predeceased in death by her parents and brother, Edward.

Monica was born in Bronx, NY to Edward and Mary Oswald on January 10, 1949. When working she spent her time at Columbia Hospital in Manhattan. She cherished her time spent with family and friends, especially with her grandchildren who all have made her very proud.

Flowers can be sent to the funeral home or, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Monica can be made to Friends of Karen and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

A visitation for Monica will be held Monday, April 14, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Service Inc., 321 South Main Street, New City, NY 10956. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Ascension Cemetery, 650 Saddle River Rd, Airmont, NY 10952.
