Michael Thomas Maloney, Sr. Born: June 19, 1949 Died: December 14, 2022 It is with a deep sense of sadness and regret that we must announce the passing of our beloved father Michael Thomas Maloney, Sr. on December 14, 2022 in a comfortable and peaceful setting. He was born on June 19, 1949 in New York City and is the eldest of 7 siblings. Michael graduated from Nanuet High School and was a long time resident of Rockland County and also a 40 year resident of Cornwall N.Y.

Michael joined the Local One (Broadway) Stage Hand union on December 7, 1986 and worked for 36 years on many different Broadway productions. Michael worked throughout the jurisdiction, most notably at Four Star Lighting, Lincoln Center and the Shubert Organization. He loved music, books, art and all that New York had to offer. Michael is pre-deceased by his beloved wife Deborah Maloney, his father Local One Brother James E. Maloney Sr., his mother Roberta Maloney and sister Patricia Maloney. Michael’s passion was being a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his daughters Erika Maloney (Ken), Kristen Maloney, his sons Michael (Melanie) Sean McManus, Jared (Alyssa), Brad Maloney and his seven beautiful grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all his loving sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and extended family.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday January 7, 2023 at 10am St. Anthony’s Church 36 W. Nyack Rd, Nanuet, NY 10954 (845) 623-2138
