Lucette Marie Raad, a loving mother, devoted wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully passed away with a smile in her sleep, surrounded by her loving family.
Lucette was born to the late Julien Martial and Julie St. Louis Martial May 22, 1951. Lucette was a beautiful woman with a loving personality with a Caribbean soul, known for her soft-spoken nature and her ability to lift spirits. She had a heart of gold, always willing to give the shirt off her back to those in need. She was always well put together and exuded class, loving the best of everything. She found joy in dancing, laughter and was a storyteller who loved to share jokes.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Leon Raad, and her children: Patricia Raad, Leon Raad Jr, Carline Henry, Beatrice Henry, and Natalie Henry. She was also a cherished grandmother to ten grandchildren, with one more on the way, and great-grandmother to four.
Lucette was an ambitious soul who had a rich and diverse career in the medical field, including nursing and caregiving. She approached her work with passion and dedication, leaving a lasting impact on those she cared for.
Outside of her professional life, Lucette found joy in cooking and spending quality time with her family. She was known for her culinary talents and the warmth she brought to every family gathering.
A memorial service to celebrate Lucette's life will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 9:00 AM at the Ascension Chapel, 650 Saddle River Rd, Airmont, NY, with Reverend Lothrope officiating.
A visiting at ascension chapel for Marie will be held Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A mass service at ascension chapel will occur Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 10:30 AM. A burial ascension cemetery will occur Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:15 AM.
