Joseph Russo

Joseph D. Russo of Connecticut passed away May 27, 2012. He was 44. Joe was born in Nyack to Louis Russo and Angela (Girardi) Russo Wasserman on July 10, 1967. He graduated from North Rockland High School and earned his Bachelor’s degree from St. Thomas Aquinas College. Joe worked as a retail manager for Ocean State Job Lot, Inc.

Joe is survived by his wife, Diane, and his children, twins, Mark and Olivia, his mother, Angela Russo Wasserman, his brother Louis and family, and his brother Thomas and family. He was predeceased by his brother Michael and survived by Michael’s family.

Visitation will be held at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home at 321 South Main Street in New City on Sunday, June 3 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A mass of Christian burial will be offered on Monday, June 4 at 11 AM at St. Augustine’s Church in New City followed by a burial at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ.
