Joseph DeSimone, 82, passed away on October 23, 2011 in Nanuet, NY. Joseph was born on January 12, 1929 in Bronx, NY. He was a Korean War veteran and when he returned from the war, married the love of his life, Carmela D'Arco, who pre-deceases him.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Steven Skorka and his son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Sue DeSimone. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, Stephanie and Gillian Skorka and David and Nicole DeSimone. He will be missed by all.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 27th from 2 to 4PM and 7 to 9PM at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home 321 South Main Street New City, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at St. Anthony's Church Nanuet, NY on Friday, October 28th, 10am with burial to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery Nanuet, NY.
