My condolences to the Pardy family from Jackie an Dave.

John and I go back to our days in Ardsley. He was as a friend in good times as well as bad. He will alway be  remember, and have a special place in my heart 

So sorry to hear this news. Mr. Pardy always had a smile on his face,  I remember him cheering us on on the sidelines of club
volleyball or for just Jackie when her HS played against NRHS!!!!
I also fondly remember his girls (wife and two daughters) as that is what made his smile brightest!! Thinking of you all. 

I am so saddened by this news. Mr Pardy was my middle school gym teacher. I loved seeing his smiling face everyday. He made going to gym so much better. He was one of my favorite teachers. I am truly sorry for this tremendous loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. 

We were deeply saddened by the news of John. He will surely be missed. I know this is a difficult time for all of you. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and your family during this time and always                            The Marrero Family

Mr. Pardy was my PE teacher in middle school. I always had so much fun in his class! He was always so kind and I always remember him with a big smile! Such great times. As a PE teacher now I always think back to those classes and how much of a positive impact he made on everyone! He will be greatly missed! 

Coach Pardy was a wonderful coach during the 94 and 95 volleyball seasons at South HS. He cared not only about our team but all of us as individuals as well. He was always available to provide guidance and to keep us (well, me) out of trouble. Thank you Coach, I appreciate you and all you invested in us during those times. Rest in love. My sincerest condolences to Mrs. Pardy, Jen, Jackie and all of the Pardy family during this very difficult time.

He will truly be missed. Such a kind soul 

I first met John who was my gym teacher at the time many many moons ago at Lake Road elementary. As the years went on he became my baseball coach who might I add hit line drives down the 3 rd base line during practices.  John and I became great friends. We talked often especially when hunting season was approaching. We liked to plan our meals way in advance.  We hunted together each season for many years. Those are some of my favorite memories which I will always cherish. He was a very good friend who was always kind to everyone.  Rest easy big guy.

Mr. Pardy was my PE teacher and also taught both of my younger sisters in middle school.  We all remember him as being incredibly kind to and patient with all of us.  He never made any of us feel uncoordinated or awkward which is no small feat to achieve with middle  school girls.  I'll always remember him as being kind to everyone no matter what.  We all send our deepest condolences to his family.

It is with such sadness that I heard of my dear friend John's passing.  Needless to say we went back a long way at Nyack.  John coached with me at Nyack but more importantly he was a dear dear friend.  Carol and I will so miss him.    Rest in peace dear friend.

John was a PE teacher and dean at the middle school when I began working in '98. He is one of the staff members who was very welcoming and helped my transition into the building. I enjoyed working with him to help kids who ended up in his office. You can see he had a big heart and wanted to help these kids as best as he could. I fondly remember his sense of humor as he shared Marty Fiedler that he saw me in the mall. So I made it in Marty's weekly newsletter as the "staff member seen coming out of Victoria Secrets". It was hilarious! Rest well good man!

Coach Pardy was my volleyball coach at Clarkstown South High School. He was such a compassionate, caring coach that helped me through my teenage years. He is part of the reason why I also became a physical educator as well as a volleyball coach. He instilled the love of the game in me and this is such a heartbreaking loss. He will truly be missed by all the athletes he coached. 

Mr. John Pardy Jr. was my high school basketball coach at Nyack High 1973- 1974. Our team was not that good the year he coached us . But I do remember some of the talks we had as I was the captain of that team. He was one of the many men in my corner who made sure to keep me on the right track. Prayers go out to his family. The way you always spoke of John was so sweet, though I never met him I could see what the two of  you had was so special.  From babysitting your grandchildren,  and  always being there for your daughters.  That was special.

John Marion, were the friendliest and best neighbors anyone could ask for . They both show  their love for one another and absolutely adore their daughters and grandchildren. In the spring we would always see John working outside keeping his lawn looking awesome. We always saw how he cared and enjoyed keeping his home as beautiful and welcoming as possible. It’s going to hurt come spring and not see John working and planting his front yard. We The Colten’s will miss you . Rest In Peace 

John I miss you so much. You were my adopted uncle by choice. You took me in when I was homeless. We watched a lot of baseball and some great dinners.  I will keep you in my heart always.  Until we meet again.  Love Ruth
