Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. John was born in Scranton, PA, to parents from Avellino, Italy, who came to America through Ellis Island. He grew up in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and attended Fort Hamilton HS. John graduated NYU with a masters degree in sanitary engineering and was City Engineer for New Rochelle for over 25 years.
John was an avid sports fan. He loved the Yankees, Rangers, and Giants. He dedicated his free time to umpiring and did so for decades.
John is survived by his loving and wonderful wife Pamela, 3 sons, Paul, Michael, and Brian, and 6 grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
A visiting for John will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Michael J. Higgins, 321 S Main Street, New City, NY 10956. A mass will occur Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Of Assisi, 128 Parrott Road, West Nyack, NY.
