James R. Simpson Jr. of Port Reading, NJ, 43 years old passed away peacefully on January 20, 2019. He was born on June 16, 1975 to James and Mariann (Cedo) Simpson. He graduated from Clarkstown North High School in 1993. He worked at United States Gypsym for the past 21 years. He was an avid Yankee and Giants fan but his greatest joys were spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his mother Mariann, his daughter Kimberly, son John, and nephew Michael. He was predeceased by his father James R. Simpson and his brother Timothy.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 4pm-8pm at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY. Internment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a GoFundME page that has been set up to help with funeral expenses, medical bills, and the future of his children.
