Jim will always be in our hearts and greatly missed.  We enjoyed so many family holidays at the dining room table engaging in friendly political debate, humorous stories and lively conversation.  A master of the grill, we savored the steaks he cooked to perfection on his BBQ on summer afternoons.  The Mets and Jets, sadly, have lost their biggest fan.  Our family has lost one of our dearest “cousins.”  May you Rest In Peace, Jim.  Love you!

Our hearts are broken at the loss 
of Jim who was truly taken from us
way too soon. We had the good fortune to
often be invited to Tricia & Jim’s home for 
very enjoyable get togethers which 
often included Jim’s absolutely terrific 
barbecue skills. He had terrific skills 
with grilling many delightful meals.
Jim always wanted to make certain 
you were pleased with your meal 
and didn’t want for anything. He was
happy to repeatedly make sure you had enough of whatever you wanted.
Being at Tricia & Jim’s was akin to a restaurant setting.
Jim always wanted to please! This 
was the essence of Jim! It was clear that your happiness was Jim’s happiness. Jim lived many of life’s gifts - he showed us how to laugh and to love. Those of us who were lucky enough to spend time with Jim are very thankful for those opportunities. And we are very grateful to Tricia, our dear friend, for bringing us all together!

We will forever miss Jim!

What a great sense of humor Jim had! I loved stopping by when I was visiting the area and sitting with him watching sports. I am also a Jets fan - so glad he got to see them win the game the other day!  He and my dear friend Tricia had a beautiful relationship that I have witnessed for these many years.  I value the friendship I have had with both of them.  I will miss seeing Jim when I walk into that living room and his chair is empty. Till we meet again! 🌈🍀💗




Jim was always the one to make us laugh. We would both do impersonations of actors, celebrities, and past presidents. We would talk together at the grill while the ladies of our family stayed inside. Current events, impersonations, and sports.  Jim was the most welcoming and a great conversationalist with wit and laugh out loud humor!! I will always relive my memories with him and Jim will be sorely missed in our hearts. Blessings to him always, my darling cousin Patricia, Erin, Jay, Nicholas, and all of his friends and family.

My husband Jim worked in hotel security management for the New York Hilton. One day shortly before Christmas one of his security staff let him know that there were three hookers sitting together at the hotel bar and he wanted to know what to do. Hookers are not welcome at the Hilton. Jim said, “I’ll take care of it.” He entered the bar and pointed at each one saying “Ho ho ho you got to go.”  That was quintessential Jim. 

We are saddened by this tragic loss. We will always remember Jim with fondness.
