Irmina T. Llamas

Irmina T. Llamas passed away on April 26, 2017. Irmina was born on January 27, 1955 to Ricardo and Remedios Torres in Manila, Philippines. She came to the USA with her family and settled in Congers. She was a nurse for the Ramapo Manor Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Airmont, NY. Irmina will be remembered for her caring personality and love of cooking.

Irmina ( Mina ) is survived by her husband, Wilfredo R. Llamas; sons, Pierre-Angelo Llamas of Congers, Daniel Llamas of NYC, and Lorenzo Llamas of Congers; Mother Mrs. Remedios Torres of Los Angeles, CA, siblings, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Torres of Los Angeles, CA, Mr. and Mrs. Florentino Torres of Los Angeles, CA, Fr. Gabriel Torres of Pampanga, Philippines, Mr. and Mrs. Jenaro Torres of Los Angeles, Edgar Torres of Los Angeles, and Angelica T. Moore of Los Angeles.

Visitation will be held at Higgins Funeral Home in New City, NY on Sunday, April 30, from 6-9pm and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial be celebrated on May 2 at St. Paul’s Church in Congers, NY interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake, NY.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Irmina’s memory to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
