Ira J. List

Ira J. List, 74, passed away at his home in New City, NY on April 18, 2019. He was born in the Bronx on June 17, 1944 to Ida and Philip List. He grew up in Parkchester, Bronx, NY and graduated from the University of Bridgeport and NYU College of Dentistry.

Ira moved to Rockland County where he had a private Dental Practice in Nyack, NY until his retirement in 2011. His true passion was to take to the skies flying single engine planes...a different beach every weekend, traveling the East coast with his wife. He was a skier, loved to golf, bike-ride, enjoyed boating and being outdoors.

Ira is survived by his loving wife Nancy Burnweit List of New City, NY, his son and daughter-in-law Noah and Brandy List and their children Meghan and Derek of Edmond, Oklahoma and Nancy’s sons Bill and Mike Yiannakou of Sloatsburg, NY. He also is survived by his sister Francine Yudell (Gerald), of Harrison, NY, a niece, his 2 nephews and their families.

The date for a Celebration of Ira’s Life will be announced in the future for all to attend, possibly close to his June birthday that he shares with his son Noah.
