Harry H. Kirkpatrick passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on September 14, 2013. He was born on January 26, 1919 to Harry Kirkpatrick and Theresa (Kastner). He is survived by his wife Helene (Timothy), who is the love of his life. They met and fell in love at GIT in 1999. They were married on Valentine’s Day in 2007 in Clarkstown. Survived by his loving step daughter Maddy Schiering (Matt), step sons Mark J. Becks and Al Peterman. He is also survived by his step grandchildren Jared and Rayna who adored him. Harry served his country proudly in WWII with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was the owner of a TV repair shop in Tappan. Harry and Helene enjoyed traveling to many different places together. Harry loved his two cats, Peppy and Peyton.
Family will receive visitors on Saturday from 9-10am at Michael J. Higgins Funeral Home, New City. A service will take place at 10am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Harry's memory to High Tor Animal Shelter.
