Frank Peter Iodice

Frank Peter Iodice, 84, of Orangeburg, NY passed away peacefully and beautifully surrounded by his Wife, Children and Grandchildren on June 8, 2022. Frank was born on March 26, 1938 in Bronx, NY to Carmela (Vinciguerra) Iodice and Claudio Iodice Sr.

Frank is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Antonietta; son Claudio (Erin), daughters Carmela (Steve), Francine (Tony) and Grandchildren, Tommy, Steven, Anthony, Nicholas, Julia, Michael, Sally, Victoria and Isabella; his sister Barbara, In laws, Nephews, Nieces and many, many Friends. Frank was so devoted to his family, he always wanted to please them and make sure everyone was ok. We are Heartbroken.

Frank graduated from Dewitt Clinton High School, Bronx, NY. He served in the Korean War and traveled the world prior to meeting his soulmate, Antonietta. Frank and Antonietta met in Ponza, Italy and were married there on April 21, 1963. Shortly after their wedding, they settled in the Bronx. In 1970 they moved to Rockland County where they raised their three children. They built a beautiful life together. Frank was retired from The International Union of Operating Engineers Local 15. He loved his Union Brothers and always had a great story regarding being on the job!

If you knew Frank you knew that he was full of life! He loved telling a great story, loved hanging with his guys, loved to dance, loved to laugh, was always the life of the party. He always there for anyone. If you needed something built or repaired, Frank was your guy. He would drop whatever he was doing and help you. He loved spending his winters in Port St. Lucie, Florida with his Bride, Antonietta and their many friends and family. Frank loved taking multiple family cruises with his wife, kids and grandchildren, he was so excited to be with his family.

Frank was devoted to San Silverio Shrine, Dover Plains, New York where he assisted in the construction of the Shrine. He enjoyed celebrating the Feast days with his fellow Ponzese-Americans.
