Carol M. Olori

Carol Marie Olori, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully at home on April 12th, 2025, in Rockland County, NY, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 3, 1937, she leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, generosity and unwavering strength as she touched the lives of countless people. She will live on through the memories and love she shared with her family and friends.

Carol was a devoted wife to her late husband Louis Olori Jr., a loving mother her children Celeste Olori and Greg Olori, a dear sister to Diana Query, a cherished grandmother to Kristen (Shannon), Steven (Adriana), and great-grandmother (GiGi) to Luca and Carina.

She was known for her infectious laugh, warm hugs and wisdom. Carol’s favorite thing to do was dance! From ballet to jazz to hula, ballroom and tap - Carol loved it all and never missed a beat! She loved painting and reading as well as traveling and spending time with family and friends. She graduated from Ramapo College and received her Masters from Fordham University where she became a social worker and began her career helping people throughout various communities.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, April 17, 2025 between 4:00pm and 8:00pm at Higgins Funeral Service Inc, located at 321 S Main St, New City, NY 10956. Followed by a prayer service on Friday, April 18, 2025 at 10:00am at St. Francis of Assisi's Church, 128 Parrott Rd, West Nyack, NY 10994.
