Carol R. Cooper, born on December 11,1945, passed away peacefully at her cherished childhood home in Nyack, NY, on April 12, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born on December 11, 1945, to Kenneth and Florence Cooper. A devoted registered nurse in the NICU at NY Presbyterian Hospital Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan, Carol found tremendous joy in caring for newborns. Carol had a collector’s heart and her home was filled with little treasures of her favorite animal, cats. Carol had a dry wit, and loved the comics, especially Garfield and the Peanuts. She took pleasure in reading the Rockland Journal News, staying well-informed about current events. Carol’s passions included the opera, watching classic movies, and listening to music on her record player. She is survived by her devoted cousins, and her memory will be forever treasured by many family members and friends.
