Angelina Varmon

Angelina Varmon, nee Monteleone, of Valley Cottage, NY passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on January 28th.

Born in the Bronx on December 14, 1928 to Jennie and Carmine, she married her loving husband Edward of 55 years on November 24, 1951.

Known by family and friends as “Angie”, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, cooking, playing poker, knitting and was a proud member of Clarkstown Senior Citizen Club of Congers where she had many friends.

Angie will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her love for life and contagious laughter.

She is predeceased by her husband Edward, daughter Jo Ann Varmon Boos, and daughter-in-law Denise Varmon.

Angie is survived by her children Philip, John and Edward (Karen) and daughter Rose Marie. Her grandchildren Christopher (Meaghan), Nicole (Ed) and Kristin (David), Stephen and Alyssa and her great-grandchildren Nataly, Noah and Kane.

Angie’s family will receive friends and family and celebrate her life on Tuesday February 4, 2025 at Michael Higgins Funeral Home in New City from 4-8PM followed by Mass at St. Paul's Church in Congers, NY on February 5th at 10AM.
