Angela was born in Furnari, Italy, on September 15, 1933 and immigrated to this country in 1955. A seamstress and devoted wife to Giuseppe Bonanno, who predeceased her in 1994, she is survived by their three children and their spouses; Vivian and Giuseppe Erbetta, Anthony and Maria Bonanno, and Tina Bonanno and Randy Prozora. She was also the beloved grandmother of Matthew and Robert Erbetta, Joseph Bonanno and Paula Kolesar, and Stephanie and Christopher Prozora and great-grandmother of Anthony, Domenic, and Vincent Bonanno, John Paul Kolesar, and Logan and Hailey Panichi. Angela will also be lovingly remembered by her surviving sister, Maria Rizzo, nieces, god-children and other cherished members of her family.
We gather in her memory at the Higgins Funeral Home, New City, New York, on Monday, December 20, from 3 – 7 p.m. and a funeral mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Stony Point, New York on December 21 at 10am.
