William (Bill) R. Madrak, 86 of Southington, passed on Friday, March 29th 2024 after a long illness. He was the son of the late William and Genevieve(Kania) Madrek. Bill had a strong Christian faith and loved serving his community and Holy Cross Church in New Britain. Bill was a retired pipe fitter at New Departure of Bristol CT. He will be remembered as a kindhearted gentleman with a great sense of humor. Bill was well respected by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. He enjoyed spending time with friends, family, gardening and fine cuisine. Bill is survived by his cousin Robert Kania, nephew Joseph Samojla and his wife Lee of New Britain, his nieces, Ann Frigeri and her husband John Sr of Kensington and Mary Brown of Virginia. His great-nephews Matthew, Dylan and Daniel Samojla of New Britain, John Frigeri Jr and his wife Tina of Coventry. Nicholas Brown of New York and great-nieces Megan Samojla of Farmington and Emily Frigeri of Southington. Bill was predeceased by his sister Dorothy Samojla and her husband Edward of Kensington and Florence Welna and her husband Henry of Kensington. Bill also leaves behind his life-long friend Ray Raia and Marge and Ray Bykowski whom had both been incredible lights in his life. Also dear friends Sue and Ken Benson.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday April 5th 2024, 10AM at Holy Cross Church 31 Biruta St New Britain. Please meet family directly at church. Interment Services will be held on Friday April 5th 2024 at Sacred Heart Cemetery at 11AM
