Malgorzata. (Orzechowski) Grzegorzek. Walter owned and operated General Machine Inc. in Berlin, for 30 years. Besides his devoted wife of 45 years, Walter is survived by a son, Raymond Grzegorek and his wife, Katherine of Burlington, a daughter, Dorothy Carlone and her husband, John of Kensington; four grandchildren, Meghan and James Grzegorzek, and Kyle and Karolina Carlone; one brother, Jozef Grzegorzek and his wife, Melania, two sisters, Jadwiga Rosiek and Zofia Dudzik and her husband, Stanislaw of Poland. He is also survived by his loving mother in law Karolina Wisniowski of Kensington. Walter is also survived by numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law: Sophie Janik, Stan Wisniowski, Joseph Wisniowski and his wife Wanda, John Wisniowski and his wife MaryAnn, Ann Glover and her husband Michael, Peter Wisniowski and his wife Cindy. He was also loved and respected by numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father-in-law, Jan Wisniowski and his two brothers-in-law, Joseph Janik and Kazimierz Rosiek. Walenty enjoyed a sunny day at the beach, riding his Harley Davidson, and especially spending time with his four grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at 9 a.m. from the New Britain Memorial & Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian burial at Holy Cross Church, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, on Friday from 4- 8 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to Holy Cross Church, 31 Biruta St., New Britain, CT 06053 in memory of Walenty.
