Vera L. Samul

She was the daughter of the late Bronislaw and Maryann Samul; a nearly lifelong resident of New Britain, graduate of New Britain High School class of 1940. She retired from Stanley Works after 40 years of service. She and her sister Jean enjoyed traveling and being active members of the Stanley Works Seniors group.

She cherished her many nieces and nephews and leaves special memories with each and every one of them.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony and Stanley Samul, and her sisters, Jean Samul, Lucy Zieziulewicz and Katherine Piwnicki.

The family would especially like to thank the staff at Arbor Rose for the compassionate care provided during her years of residence.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 10 a.m. at St. Jerome Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their last respects Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. at the New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain. Directions: I-84 Exit 37 then East on Fienemenn Road/Farmington Avenue for approximately 1½ miles.
